Finding your personal style!

No matter what kind of artist your are, personal style is essential if you want to succeed. But what exactly is your personal style? Maybe you don´t know yet? Well, it is all a natural part of developing as an artist. I don´t really believe that you can force yourself into working in a certain way, it has to come natural to you. We all have our heroes and I wish that I could paint exactly like mine, but it is not the way it works. The thing is, when you have found your personal style, spent weeks, maybe years(!) polishing it and made it exquisite, then there is no one out there who can make your art. No one else but YOU. It is a comforting thought I think:)
